If one plan fails. Try another. There's always blank paper on the drawing board. An imaginitive mind never runs outta ideas, only time. I know you've heard the saying "try, try again" right? ツ As long as there's breath in your lungs, you have the power to rethink your strategy. Know that and believe it. There are way too many things to try to just give up. Way too many. Times will come when you may be blocked by an obstacle but an extraordinary mind will jump it somehow. Get over the hurdle and keep going. This life we live in is full of despair and if we give into it it will consume and destroy us. Look to the sky for strength and guidance and look to the beauty of the world for inspiration. Its there, there's always something there. You just have to have enough drive and want to find what you need for this new canvas. It may be full of despair but the world is also full of life, love, desire and passion. The same things that's in your heart. ツ

The Little Things

Depression, anger, resentment, jealousy and sadness are all things I do my best to stay away from. These are the type of things that ruin your health, your life, your day, your everything! Sometimes issues in your daily personal life can become so heavy its hard to balance on your shoulders. But if you concentrate on the things that truly matter you wont notice the heavy weight too much. Do you know what the things that matter are? The small things. Things so small you don't realize that they're you're saving grace. Things like, love of something that makes you happy like art or music, the smile on the face of someone dear to you. Those small things that keep you happy give you reasons to keep moving on in a positive manner so that its a little easier to balance the heavy. That's if you're the type of person to know what your true treasures are. ツ Each day we rise to issues and problems that can't be avoided. We have to deal with bosses and traffic, attitudes and cruelness among many other things. I do my best to brush it off, give a smile and keep it moving. If I let every dumb thing that happens everyday make me mad, I'll never be happy and I'm to beautiful of a woman (inside and out) to walk around frowning all the time. I'm the type to try to enjoy every minute of the day I can.

Concentrating on the heavy all the time ain't so healthy. You become obsessed with just that, leaving little room in your mind for anything else, leaving you to forget about other things in your life that will disappear if you leave them unattended to long. Don't cloud your mind with all the BS in your life. Learn what your real treasures are and focus on them. Let them give you what you need to deal with everyday life. Life ain't easy but you can get through it with a few scrapes and some great stories to tell your grandkids. ツ

The Bigger Picture

There's so much more to life than what most of us are lead to believe. Most of us have no idea what's really goin on around us. Its like when you're driving, you look at the whole windshield not just one spot. If you do that then you're gonna miss out on alot. You may even hit somebody. Now we don't want that do we? Of course not. You have to expand your view. You have to span back and forth and up and down to catch everything. You even have to glance behind you once in awhile to remember where you been. Paying attention is also key to success. Don't pay attention and you can make a wrong turn or go up a one way, which does happen at times but if caught quick enough it can be corrected without too much effort. Applying driving rules to everyday living sounds weird but it helps me to remember that I have a neck for a reason and to move my head around. Forget tunnel vision. ツ By looking at the bigger picture I can see more opportunities and other ways to go. I can admire the beauty of the scenery as I pass by. Appreciate what the world has to offer me other than what's directly in front of my eyes.

The Clocks Ticking ツ

As a child, you have no sense of time. You don't even truly understand the real concept of time. It doesn't exist. The only thing you know is there's a certain time you eat, pray, clean and go to bed. All the rest of the while you just play until you're called by Mom or Dad for something. Your mind doesn't have the knowledge to understand that your human clock is ticking, heading towards the last seconds of your life. The seconds that lead to eternal sleep. That nap that you'll never wake from. There is no meaning to the saying, 'you were born to die'. Youthful innocence is a gift. A gift taken much advantage of. Not purposely because essentially you have no idea that you will run out of time. As you grow, you begin to realize that time is ticking but it still doesn't mean much to you because you're still caught up in your youth. In your mind, getting old is far far away. If you're not taught well, you'll lose sense of time. If you're not taught to spend your time wisely doing things to aid you when you do get old, you'll lose out big time. The time will slip through your hands and before you know it, you won't have enough time to do those things to help aid you in your old age. With time, your body slows down, your looks begin to fade and your mind isn't as quick as it used to be. What I'm saying is this: prepare yourself for the future because you won't be young forever.

Num-Nums ツ

So, the holiday season is upon us once again and ladies, what does that mean? It means a few extra pounds added to the hips and thighs. Haha Well, its expected. After watching our curves all year long, a few extra slices of cake or some extra fried chicken on our plate is well deserved. Ain't nothing wrong with a thick woman! As a matter of fact some studies show that men prefer a woman with a little meat in the right places. I mean, who wants to feel like they're going to bed with a nine year old boy? *yuck* Lol Rabbit and gerbal food is sold in pet shops, not supermarkets.
Lets say for arguments sake you gain eight lbs. Don't panic! Its not that serious! Over the years I've found simple ways to shed those lbs without liposuction and tieing your stomach in knots. You gotta mix and match. Try jogging three times a week or get a jump rope. They cost like $10 at Dicks Sporting Goods. Spend some time chasing the kids around the house. Dedicate an hour every other day to toning up or burning off those calories. Don't be lazy. That's the key. Take care of your body. Monitor your weight. That helps. I weigh myself every other day to keep in shape. In the back of my mind, I know what I should n shouldn't be eating especially if I'm gonna have a big dinner. Try not to starve yourself all day because then you'll eat too much. Eat small meals or snacks til dinner time. You know, crackers, a slice or two of wheat toast. Sensible things. Give it a shot and see what happens. ツ Good Luck!

TRUST

I'm sure everyone means well when they say, "you can trust me". I'm sorry but I don't trust anybody anymore, well....just a select few. Four to be exact. I've heard that line more times than enough and just about each time, I've been lied to. Its like they say it just to make themselves seem trustworthy but then first chance they get, they break that trust with enthusiasm, like they enjoy it. Smh I'm so done and overwith that BS it ain't even funny. I've decided to cut alotta those liars outta my circle because they're making me look bad and feel stupid. I'm a forgiving person (contrary to what may be believed) and I have a soft heart. Its gotten me in a lotta trouble over the years. I've given up alot for certain people. Trust me when I say, "I've learned my lesson 10 times over". What's left in this heart is for my family, my real family. They know who they are. Don't get me wrong, I still got love for lots of folks but that's all it is, love. No trust. Love with no trust only goes so far. The value ain't worth much. Remember that.

Big Cats

When God created big cats he had me in mind. I LOVE em! If it were possible, I'd own one as a pet but we all know they ain't domesticated. They will tear yo ass up! ツ Gotta give em the respect they're owed. Some foolish people think they can live side by side with these unpredictable animals. Their beauty and magnificent nature is to be admired from afar and with the utmost humility. They are killers by instinct and nature. They happen to be way over us in the food chain. One day we will be able to walk side by side with them when all is peaceful throughout the world. ツ Until then, I'll visit em at the zoo. TeeHee!

Ahhh Cappuccino ツ

It can be night, afternoon or morning and its alwaus a perfect time for a cappuccino. So sweet and so smooth. ツ If I'm in a bad mood it makes me smile. Is that so wrong? When I'm sipping it, I'm in a world of my own. Haha & what's better than a cup of cappuccino? One with a monkey in it! Lol

My Baby Boy ツ

My Baby Boy. He ain’t no baby no more! He’s 19 now. Time really flew! It was Tonka trunks and Power Rangers yesterday, today its trance dance n black light parties! Our future lies in these kids. Our lives. What we instill in them will determine the fate of the world. Please be careful how u treat them, what you expose them to. Teach them right from wrong and show them what the real meaning of respect is. They need us to be at our best. They depend on us. Are you ready to do this? The right way? ♥ our kids ツ

Smh

Don't be greedy. What a sin. You are not the only human being walking this earth and contrary to what you may believe, its not all about you. It sickens me to even be in the presence of a selfish person. I would never deny anyone anything I may have and can share because that's just who I am but....that's just me. I happen to be a unique individual who is selfless, caring, and have a general concern for people. You don't have to be family in order to receive help from me. All you have to be is in need and I have to be equipped with what you need. God is good people, all the time. Remember that. Blessings!

Amazing how a person can make something outta nothing. In a span of 20 years I've created something so extraordinary that its untouchable. I have what most wish they can have for all their life. I've accomplished love on a level that surpasses most. The trust, the devotion, the dedication, the commitment, the effort, the bond and the love is all so unbelievable. Its something I wouldn't trade for anything. He's my best friend, my lover, my partner, my brother, my everything. Bonnie and Clyde. His partner in crime. I'm his right hand and he's mine. ツ We've spent so much time creating what we have. I understand him in ways that no one ever can. I make his world complete and he completes mine. We share a connection that most will never know. I'm The Mrs. now and eternally. I luv my Husband. We ride together, we gon die together. Happy 20th Papa. ♥♥♡♡♥♥♡♡♥♥

Not Before

I have everything I need right in my hands. I'm not greedy. I know my limits. I don't take advantage of the small things because in the end, the small things r worth most. My circle is neverending. I wear it with faith n hope and I ain't been let down yet. Never stop believeing in what makes ur heart beat. Never give in to temptation. Know ur worth as a person n know ur place in this world. I've always been exactly where I belong n I will never forget it. Death will come first. I know my worth. ツ

A Broken Heart

Words really can't express what I'm feeling right now. I lost someone very dear to my heart yesterday. My Uncle Joe. He was more than just my Uncle, he was my Father. He was the man in my life that was there for me when I needed a Father. He taught me things that I would've learned the hard way in the streets. He meant more to me than the man who was my father. Don't get me wrong. I loved my father but only because he was my father, no other reason. I loved my Uncle Joe more because he acted like my father. He knew when I needed him. He listened to me and treated me like a daughter, loved me like one. My heart will always miss something until we are together again. Wherever you are, I pray you're comfortable and watching over me. I love you.

Hey all! Yes its been a while since Ive blogged. I didnt forget I just been a lil busy ツ. I pray that ur all blessed and in good health and peace.

I was awaken this morning by the police in my complex arresting two Africans for trying to steal a vehicle out if the parking lot! Smh Really? I just dont understand some peoples stupidity. There are cameras and three beautiful buildings full of people all around. Here in PA if u get caught doing the littlest thing wrong they do their best to crucify you. Lol Apparently, they broke the back window (loud noise at weee hours of the morn) in an attempt to get away with this. I wonder what made them think that they could quietly do this? Can we say MORONS? ツ The best part is they live in the complex so, did they not think they wouldnt be recognized? I dont live in a paradise but I do live in a very well kept, quiet, friendly, beautiful neighborly place. Not to mention out here the "No Snitch" code is highly ignored. Smh If they see u, they will tell. Im amazed at the fact that they thought they would not get caught. As soon as the light hit and the owner saw her vehicle she reported it. Of course, the calvary shows up (lmao) and all hell broke loose. Video cameras were reviewed and BOOM! There they were in action. Smh Amazing! So, off in cuffs they go and one baby mama is toting around an infant barely dressed to try to stop the madness. Lol No hat, shoes, blanket, nothing but best believe she was dressed warm. Smh What happened to common sense? Jeez man. Some people need to wise up. ツ
